The Continental Competition Tubular is riden by many professional teams. This tubular tyre comes in 19 mm or the very rare 22 mm width sizes and a choice of Continental Yellow (almost orange) or Black. It contains the liquid crystal fibre Vectran and has been tested under the hard professional conditions of grit, pot holes and long hard mileage.

The Continential Competition tubular is equiped with the Vectran puncture protection breaker. One layer of the cut resistant Vectran under the tread instead of the previous two nylon breakers reduces weight and improves rolling resistance and rolling comfort.
