The new Campagnolo Centaur 10 speed groupset has many new great features. These include Ultra-Torque cranksets in carbon or alloy, extremely light Skeleton brakes and the Ergopower Ultrashift mechanism.
The Campagnolo Ultra-Torque crankset is available with the classic 39/53 or the Compact 34/50 toothing. Three crank lengths are envisaged for both versions: 170, 172.5 and 175 mm.
The Skeleton brakes are a new type of Campagnolo brake first introduced in 2007. They now offer greater reinforcement and stiffening of the most sensitive points while lightening those areas where the presence of material is superfluous. The braking system therefore becomes notably lighter with higher performance. The new Skeleton brakes are of the differentiated type, with a powerful front brake and a modulable rear brake. This option ensures a reduction of the stopping distances and enhanced safety.
The Campagnolo Carbon Ergopower Centaur controls are the new Ultrashift type. These offer increased shift performance, crispness and smoothness in the shifting from gear to gear. You now have the capability to downshift up to three cogs with one throw and upshift up to five cogs with a single lever throw.
The new 11-25 10 speed cassette gives a broader range of ratios, just as suitable for the steepest climbs as for fast pedalable descents.
Components: Carbon Ergo levers with cables, silver alloy brake callipers, chain, chainset in either alloy or carbon, front changer, rear changer with carbon or alloy plate and cassette.
Groupsets do not include pedals, headset or hubs; these must be ordered separately.
Image shown is for the carbon model where certain components are at an increased rate.
